Community Guidelines
Effective Date: May 6, 2026 · Version: 1.1 · Applies to: All NEXTRIX STUDIOS community spaces
These Guidelines work alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Participating in our community means you agree to follow them in all spaces.
Introduction & Scope
NEXTRIX STUDIOS is a community built for Roblox developers — from beginners writing their first scripts to seasoned developers shipping complex games. We want this to be a space where people can collaborate, share knowledge, showcase work, and find high-quality tools.
These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) apply to all NEXTRIX STUDIOS community spaces, including but not limited to:
- The NEXTRIX STUDIOS website (https://nextrixstudios.org), including the forum, shop, blog, user profiles, and comment sections.
- Our Discord server (discord.nextrixstudios.org), including all channels, threads, voice channels, and direct messages facilitated through server events.
- Any other platform, server, group, or channel officially operated by NEXTRIX STUDIOS.
These Guidelines exist alongside — not instead of — our Terms of Service. Violating these Guidelines may result in enforcement action up to and including a permanent ban from all NEXTRIX STUDIOS community spaces. In severe cases, violations may also be reported to relevant platforms (Discord, Roblox) or law enforcement.
We reserve the right to update these Guidelines at any time. Material changes will be announced in the relevant community spaces. Continued participation after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
1. General Conduct
These principles apply everywhere — on the forum, in Discord, in comments, in DMs facilitated by NEXTRIX STUDIOS events, and in any interaction that reflects on our community.
1.1 Respect & Dignity
- Treat every community member with respect, regardless of their experience level, background, or opinions.
- Healthy debate and constructive criticism are welcome. Personal attacks, insults, mockery, or targeted harassment are never acceptable.
- Do not post content that is hateful, derogatory, or discriminatory based on race, ethnicity, color, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
- Do not threaten, stalk, intimidate, or attempt to coerce any person in or outside of the community.
- Do not engage in name-calling, targeted ridicule, or sustained negative attention toward a specific individual or group.
- Do not intentionally embarrass, humiliate, or publicly shame community members.
1.2 Honesty & Integrity
- Do not impersonate any person, brand, Roblox group, or organization, including NEXTRIX STUDIOS staff, moderators, or administrators.
- Do not misrepresent your identity, credentials, or the nature of your content, products, or services.
- Do not spread deliberate misinformation or disinformation, particularly regarding our products, our staff, or Roblox platform policies.
- Do not attempt to manipulate community votes, ratings, or reviews through fake accounts, coordinated efforts, or other inauthentic means.
1.3 Safety
- Do not post content that promotes, glorifies, or provides instructions for self-harm, suicide, or harm to others.
- If you encounter content suggesting someone is at risk of harm to themselves or others, please report it immediately to our moderation team and — where appropriate — to relevant emergency services.
- Do not solicit personal information (real name, address, phone number, school, etc.) from minors or any member who has not voluntarily shared it.
- Do not share others' private information (addresses, phone numbers, emails, real names) without their explicit consent. This includes doxxing in any form.
1.4 Account Conduct
- Each member may maintain one active account. Creating alternate accounts to evade bans, suspensions, mutes, or other restrictions is strictly prohibited.
- Do not share your account credentials with others. You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.
- You may not use your account for commercial purposes without explicit written permission from NEXTRIX STUDIOS.
2. Forum Rules
The NEXTRIX STUDIOS forum is a space for technical discussion, showcase, feedback, and community collaboration. To keep it organized and useful for everyone, the following rules apply in addition to the general conduct rules above.
2.1 Posting Standards
- Post in the appropriate category. If you are unsure where a post belongs, check the category descriptions or ask a moderator.
- Write clear, descriptive titles that accurately reflect the content of your post. Vague titles like "help" or "urgent" are discouraged.
- Use proper spelling and grammar to the best of your ability. Posts that are entirely incomprehensible may be removed or asked to be revised.
- Provide sufficient context in technical help requests. Include relevant code snippets, error messages, screenshots, and a description of what you have already tried.
- Format code in code blocks. Use triple backtick (\`\`\`) formatting for all code, scripts, or command-line output.
- Do not post the same message in multiple categories (cross-posting). If your post belongs in more than one category, choose the most relevant one.
2.2 Content Standards
- All content must comply with our general conduct rules and must be appropriate for a community that includes members aged 13 and older.
- Do not post sexual, graphic, gory, or otherwise disturbing content.
- Do not post content that glorifies illegal activity.
- Do not post spoilers for games, movies, or other media without appropriate spoiler warnings.
- Memes, off-topic posts, and humor are welcome in designated channels/categories only. Keep them tasteful.
- Rant posts or venting threads are permitted in designated areas only. Do not direct rage at specific community members, staff, or companies.
2.3 Spam & Flooding
- Do not post the same message or substantially similar messages repeatedly.
- Do not excessively bump old threads without adding new substantive content.
- Do not post empty, low-effort, or single-emoji replies that add no value to the discussion.
- Do not flood threads with large numbers of images, GIFs, or media that make them difficult to read.
- Do not use excessive formatting (ALL CAPS, excessive bold/italics, rainbow text) that makes posts hard to read.
2.4 Commercial & Promotional Posts
- Commercial posts, advertisements, and promotions must be posted only in the designated Marketplace or Showcase categories.
- You may promote your own Roblox games, services, or products in appropriate categories, provided the content is accurate and not misleading.
- Do not promote third-party products, websites, or services without permission from a moderator or administrator. Affiliate links and referral codes are prohibited unless explicitly approved.
- Commission requests and hiring posts are permitted in designated categories only.
2.5 Feedback & Reviews
- Reviews and feedback must be honest, constructive, and based on genuine experience.
- Do not post fake reviews, review-bomb products, or coordinate with others to manipulate review scores.
- Negative feedback is welcome when constructive and specific. Purely hostile reviews intended only to harm a developer's reputation will be removed.
3. Discord Server Rules
Our Discord server is an extension of the NEXTRIX STUDIOS community. All forum rules and general conduct rules apply in Discord as well. The following additional rules are specific to our Discord server.
3.1 Channel Usage
- Use channels for their intended purpose. Check channel descriptions and pinned messages before posting.
- Keep discussions relevant to the channel topic. Off-topic conversations belong in designated off-topic channels.
- Do not use bot commands or trigger bot responses outside of designated bot channels.
- Keep voice channels appropriate. Do not play excessively loud audio, use voice changers disruptively, or make it difficult for others to communicate.
3.2 Pings & Mentions
- Do not @mention staff or moderators unless you genuinely need their immediate assistance.
- Do not mass-ping multiple members without a legitimate reason.
- Do not @everyone or @here unless you are authorized to do so.
- Repeated, unnecessary pings after being asked to stop may result in a warning or mute.
3.3 Direct Messages
- Do not send unsolicited direct messages to members for the purpose of advertising, recruiting, or soliciting.
- Do not send harassing, threatening, or inappropriate content via direct messages.
- Reports about DM harassment that originate from within our server community will be taken seriously.
3.4 Bots & Automation
- Do not add unauthorized bots to the server.
- Do not use self-bots, user-bots, or any form of automated account to interact with the server.
- Do not attempt to exploit, crash, or otherwise interfere with server bots or their operation.
3.5 Nicknames & Avatars
- Server nicknames and profile avatars must comply with our general conduct standards — no hateful, explicit, or otherwise objectionable imagery or names.
- Moderators reserve the right to reset nicknames that violate these standards.
4. Shop & Product Content Standards
These rules apply to all content sold or distributed through the NEXTRIX STUDIOS shop, whether by us or (where applicable) by community contributors. All products must meet these standards to be listed or to remain listed.
4.1 Script & Code Quality
- Scripts must function as described in their listing at the time of sale.
- Scripts must not contain intentionally malicious code — including but not limited to backdoors, remote exploit loaders, data stealers, keyloggers, crash exploits, or any form of unauthorized access mechanism.
- Scripts that claim to be obfuscated must not use obfuscation to hide malicious functionality.
- All scripts intended for Roblox must comply with Roblox's Terms of Use and Developer Guidelines.
- Scripts must not include functionality designed to target, harm, or exploit users, players, or game experiences without clear and informed consent.
4.2 Model & Asset Quality
- 3D models and assets must be described accurately in their listings, including polygon count, LOD availability, texture resolution, and format.
- Assets must not contain malicious scripts, hidden clickbait meshes, or unauthorized promotional content.
- Assets must not infringe on Roblox Corporation's intellectual property or any third-party copyright.
4.3 Intellectual Property
- You must be the original creator of the content you sell, or must have explicit permission from the original creator to sell or distribute it.
- Do not sell, distribute, or upload ripped, leaked, stolen, or decompiled assets from any game, platform, or developer without their express written permission.
- Do not resell or redistribute content from NEXTRIX STUDIOS or any other marketplace without authorization.
- If your product includes third-party licensed components, you must clearly disclose this in the listing and ensure the license permits your use.
4.4 Accurate Listings
- Product titles, descriptions, screenshots, and previews must accurately represent the product.
- Do not use misleading or exaggerated claims in product descriptions.
- Do not use deceptive screenshots, edited previews, or previews of other developers' work to represent your product.
- Price and licensing terms must be clearly and accurately stated.
4.5 Product Restrictions
- Products that enable or facilitate cheating, exploiting, or unauthorized access in Roblox games are prohibited.
- Products that generate or automate Robux (beyond what is explicitly permitted by Roblox) are prohibited.
- Products primarily designed to evade Roblox's anti-cheat or moderation systems are prohibited.
5. Roblox-Specific Rules
Because our community is specifically focused on Roblox development, we hold members to the standards set by both NEXTRIX STUDIOS and Roblox Corporation. The following rules apply to all content, discussion, and products that relate to Roblox.
5.1 Roblox Platform Compliance
- All content, scripts, models, and advice shared in our community must comply with Roblox's Terms of Use and Community Standards (https://en.help.roblox.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004647846).
- Do not promote, share, or request assistance with anything that violates Roblox's platform rules, including but not limited to: using exploits, automating gameplay, bypassing age verification, or accessing unauthorized APIs.
- Do not discuss or share tools used for hacking, exploiting, or duplication glitches in Roblox games.
5.2 Exploit Scripts & Cheating
- Do not request, share, promote, or discuss scripts or tools designed to exploit Roblox games, including FE (FilteringEnabled) bypass scripts, speed hacks, fly hacks, god mode scripts, or any form of cheat engine integration.
- Discussing the existence of exploits in an educational or security research context is permitted only in designated channels and must not include functional exploit code or instructions to deploy exploits.
- Do not provide assistance to anyone seeking to cheat, grief, or disrupt the gameplay experience of others in any Roblox game.
5.3 Asset Theft & IP Violations
- Do not distribute, request, or assist with the unauthorized copying, ripping, or extraction of assets (models, sounds, textures, scripts) from Roblox games.
- Do not share decompiled, leaked, or stolen assets from any Roblox game or developer.
- Do not impersonate Roblox game brands, developer groups, or studios in your username, profile, or content.
5.4 Roblox Account Behavior
- Do not share, trade, sell, or purchase Roblox accounts.
- Do not attempt to phish Roblox accounts through our community spaces. Any attempt to steal Roblox credentials is a serious violation that will result in an immediate permanent ban and may be reported to Roblox and law enforcement.
- Do not use our community spaces to organize griefing campaigns, raid groups, or coordinated harassment within Roblox games.
5.5 Roblox Terms of Service Compliance
We also expect members to conduct themselves according to Roblox's Community Standards in Roblox games, especially in games affiliated with NEXTRIX STUDIOS. Severe violations of Roblox's Terms of Use that come to our attention and reflect on our community may result in enforcement action within NEXTRIX STUDIOS spaces as well.
6. Prohibited Content
The following types of content are strictly prohibited across all NEXTRIX STUDIOS community spaces:
6.1 Illegal Content
- Content that is illegal under applicable Canadian, Quebec, or international law.
- Content that promotes, facilitates, or glorifies any form of illegal activity.

6.4 Malware & Security Threats

- Posting phishing links or content designed to steal credentials or personal information.
- Distributing unauthorized remote access tools or backdoors.
- Attempting to DDoS, crash, or otherwise attack NEXTRIX STUDIOS infrastructure or any third-party service.
6.5 Privacy Violations

- Sharing private communications (DMs, emails, logs) without the consent of all parties involved.
- Recording or streaming voice channel conversations without participant consent.
7. Advertising & Promotion
7.1 Permitted Promotion
- You may promote your own Roblox games, developer portfolios, YouTube channels, and similar personal creative work in designated channels and categories.
- Showcase your projects and products in appropriate areas, with honest and accurate descriptions.
- Collaboration and team recruitment posts are permitted in designated channels and must be clearly labeled.
7.2 Prohibited Promotion

- Do not send unsolicited promotional messages via direct messages to community members.
- Do not use automated tools or bots to mass-promote content in the community.
8. Intellectual Property
Respect for intellectual property is a core value of the NEXTRIX STUDIOS community. We take IP violations seriously.
- Do not share or distribute copyrighted content (scripts, models, audio, images, videos, written works) without the permission of the copyright owner.
- Do not claim ownership of work that is not your own. Credit original creators when sharing or referencing their work.
- Do not upload or share leaked, private, or unreleased assets from any Roblox developer, studio, or platform without authorization.
- If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed in our community or shop, please contact us at [email protected] with “IP Infringement Report” in the subject line. Include a description of the original work, evidence of ownership, and details of the alleged infringement.
- NEXTRIX STUDIOS will investigate credible IP infringement reports and take appropriate action, including content removal, in accordance with applicable law.
9. Moderation Process & Enforcement
Our moderation team works to enforce these Guidelines fairly and consistently. All enforcement decisions are made by human moderators. Automated tools may flag content for review, but final decisions are made by people.
9.1 Enforcement Ladder
We use a progressive enforcement system. The severity of each step depends on the nature and severity of the violation:
- Verbal Warning: A private or public notice that your behavior or content violates our Guidelines. Issued for minor or first-time violations. No lasting account impact.
- Formal Warning: An official warning recorded on your account. Issued for repeated minor violations or moderately serious single violations.
- Temporary Mute / Posting Restriction: Your ability to post, reply, or send messages is temporarily restricted for a defined period (ranging from hours to weeks). Issued for repeated violations or moderately serious behavior.
- Temporary Ban: You are removed from the community for a defined period (typically 1–30 days). Issued for serious violations or repeated moderate violations after prior warnings.
- Permanent Ban: You are permanently removed from all NEXTRIX STUDIOS community spaces. Issued for severe violations, extremely harmful conduct, or repeated violations after multiple prior sanctions. Account termination may also apply.
9.2 Immediate Permanent Ban
Certain violations result in an immediate permanent ban without prior warnings, including but not limited to:
- Posting, sharing, or distributing CSAM or sexual content involving minors.
- Doxxing any community member.
- Credible threats of violence or harm against any person.
- Distributing functional malware, ransomware, or exploit tools.
- Phishing or credential theft attempts targeting community members.
- Large-scale coordinated harassment campaigns.
- Evasion of a prior permanent ban.
Zero-Tolerance Policy
The above violations are subject to immediate and non-negotiable permanent bans. In severe cases, we may also report incidents to Discord, Roblox, or law enforcement authorities.
9.3 Moderator Discretion
Our moderation team reserves the right to take action — including removal of content or enforcement against accounts — for behavior that, while not explicitly listed here, is deemed harmful to the community or inconsistent with the spirit of these Guidelines. We also reserve the right to skip steps in the enforcement ladder if circumstances warrant it.
9.4 Staff & Moderator Conduct
NEXTRIX STUDIOS staff and moderators are held to the same standards as all community members, and to a higher standard of professional conduct befitting their role. Staff members who abuse their position or violate these Guidelines are subject to the same enforcement process and may additionally have their staff role revoked.
10. Reporting Violations
If you witness a violation of these Guidelines, we ask that you report it rather than engaging with the violator directly. Engaging often escalates situations and makes resolution more difficult.
10.1 How to Report
- Forum: Use the "Report" button on any post or user profile to submit a report to our moderation team.
- Discord: Use the /report command in any channel, or send a direct message to a moderator or admin with evidence of the violation.
- Email: For serious violations (threats, doxxing, CSAM, legal matters), contact us directly at [email protected] with "Moderation Report" in the subject line.
10.2 What to Include in Your Report
- A clear description of what occurred and why you believe it violates these Guidelines.
- Screenshots, links, or other evidence (where available).
- The username(s) of the involved party or parties.
- The time, date, and location (channel, forum thread, etc.) of the incident.
10.3 False Reports
Submitting false or malicious reports is itself a violation of these Guidelines. If we determine that a report was submitted in bad faith to target, harass, or retaliate against another member, the reporting party may be subject to enforcement action.
10.4 Confidentiality
We treat all reports as confidential to the extent possible. We will not disclose the identity of the reporting party to the subject of the report without your consent, except where required by applicable law.
11. Appeals Process
If you believe that enforcement action taken against you was incorrect, disproportionate, or unjust, you have the right to appeal.
11.1 How to Appeal
Submit your appeal by emailing [email protected] with “Enforcement Appeal” in the subject line. Your appeal should include:
- Your username and account details.
- The nature of the enforcement action (warning, mute, ban) and when it was applied.
- Your explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect or unjust.
- Any evidence that supports your case.
11.2 Appeal Eligibility
- You may appeal any formal warning, mute, temporary ban, or permanent ban.
- Appeals for permanent bans resulting from zero-tolerance violations (see Section 9.2) will be considered only in exceptional circumstances where clear error is demonstrated.
- You may submit one appeal per enforcement action. Submitting multiple appeals for the same action may result in your appeal being denied.
11.3 Appeal Review
Appeals are reviewed by a senior moderator or administrator who was not involved in the original enforcement decision. We aim to respond to appeals within 7 business days. Our decision following the appeal review is final.
11.4 Conduct During Appeal
If you are appealing a temporary ban, you must not attempt to re-enter the community (via alternate accounts or otherwise) during the appeal period. Doing so will be treated as ban evasion and may result in a permanent ban.
12. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our community, applicable laws, or platform policies. When we make material changes, we will:
- Post an announcement in relevant Discord channels and/or on the forum.
- Update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
- For significant changes, provide advance notice where possible.
Continued participation in NEXTRIX STUDIOS community spaces after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Guidelines. If you disagree with changes, you should discontinue participation and may contact us to discuss your concerns.
